Fare information
ORide shows the estimated total payable in Australian dollars before a booking is confirmed. The final trip record explains any permitted change to that estimate.
What an estimate can include
The active pricing profile may use a base fare, booking fee, distance, time and minimum fare. Depending on the trip, the estimate or final total may also include a clearly disclosed toll, waiting charge, cancellation fee, discount or approved adjustment.
GST and Australian dollars
Customer-facing amounts are displayed in AUD and include GST where applicable. Available receipts and tax invoices show the GST treatment recorded for the trip.
Why the final amount can change
A changed route, additional waiting time, toll, cancellation, refund or approved post-trip adjustment can affect the final amount. These items should appear separately in the trip breakdown.
Questions about a fare
Contact ORide from the relevant trip and explain which item you would like reviewed. Never send a full card number or banking password.
