These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the ORIDE rider application, driver tools, website and related services.
By creating an account, accessing the ORIDE platform or using ORIDE services, you agree to these Terms of Use.
ORIDE provides technology for requesting, coordinating and administering booked transport services.
Access to the ORIDE platform does not itself grant any driver, operator or vehicle regulatory approval. Drivers, operators and vehicles must hold all licences, registrations, accreditations, insurance policies, inspections and other approvals required for the service and jurisdiction in which they operate.
Users must provide accurate, current and complete information, keep their account credentials secure, use the ORIDE platform lawfully and treat riders, drivers and support personnel respectfully.
Fraud, unsafe conduct, false or falsified information or documents, account sharing, misuse of location, communication, payment or emergency features, and interference with the platform or its security are prohibited.
ORIDE may restrict, suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, required information expires, or a safety, fraud or compliance concern arises.
The ORIDE application displays available service categories and an estimated fare before a booking is confirmed.
The final GST-inclusive fare may include applicable booking fees, tolls, discounts, adjustments, waiting-time charges and other amounts disclosed through the platform. The final amount and payment status are determined by the applicable booking and pricing records.
Users are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and paying all lawful charges associated with their bookings.
A rider or driver may cancel a booking through the ORIDE platform. A cancellation or no-show fee may apply where it was disclosed before the booking was confirmed or before the charge became applicable.
ORIDE may waive or refund a cancellation charge where appropriate, including where the cancellation resulted from a platform error, safety concern or circumstances reasonably outside the user's control.
Access to ORIDE driver tools is conditional upon ORIDE review. This review does not replace any government, licensing, accreditation, taxation, insurance or regulatory requirement.
Drivers must keep all required licences, accreditations, checks and approvals current. Vehicles must maintain current registration, appropriate insurance and CTP classification, required inspections, roadworthiness approvals and any other required accreditation.
ORIDE may prevent a driver from accepting bookings where mandatory records have expired or a safety or compliance concern exists.
ORIDE safety features assist with trip coordination and incident reporting but are not a replacement for emergency services.
In an emergency in Australia, call 000.
Location information, booking records and communications may be used for dispatch, customer support, safety monitoring, fraud prevention and incident investigation as described in the ORIDE Privacy Policy. Users must not intentionally misuse safety or emergency features.
Users may request support, a refund, a fare adjustment or make a complaint through the ORIDE application or website support process.
ORIDE will assess each request using relevant booking details, trip records, payment information and the pricing record applicable to the trip.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law.
Personal information is collected, used, stored and disclosed in accordance with the ORIDE Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
ORIDE does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Access may be temporarily limited because of maintenance, technical problems, network availability, emergencies, legal requirements or circumstances beyond ORIDE's reasonable control.
ORIDE may update these Terms of Use when its services, legal obligations or operational requirements change. Updated Terms and their effective date will be published through the ORIDE website or application. Where required, users will be notified of material changes before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and applicable laws of Australia.
