Safety depends on informed riders, responsible drivers and clear follow-up. These steps help you recognise the right ride and report concerns with useful context.
Check before you get in
- Match the driver, vehicle and registration details with the app.
- Wait in a well-lit, legal pickup location where possible.
- Do not take a ride that was arranged outside the ORide trip record.
Stay informed during the trip
Follow the trip in the app and share the trip details with a trusted contact when you want someone else to know your route and driver information.
Report a safety concern
Use the relevant trip when contacting ORide so the support team can locate the correct driver, vehicle, time and route. Include what happened and whether anyone remains at risk.
Driver and vehicle requirements
Driver and vehicle records are reviewed as part of onboarding and monitored for expiry. Regulatory approval and ongoing eligibility remain subject to the applicable South Australian requirements.
